Excellencies & Executives Lunch Madrid
Monday 16 November
The Netherlands hosted the Global Entrepreneurship Summit from 3-5 June 2019 in The Hague. To enhance the output of the GES summit, Professor Dr. Dewanand Mahadew created a conceptual model to boost the cooperation among nations and societies around the world through entrepreneurship and innovation, by means of an Excellencies & Entrepreneurs Dinner.

The event in The Netherlands was a splendid success, attended by H.E. Mrs. Sigrid Kaag, Dutch Minister of International Trade and Development Cooperation, together with 45 Ambassadors and 280 executives and entrepreneurs from 88 countries.

The event resulted in many business partnerships based on glocalization (think global, act local) formulas, aiming to improve local societies and share profits.

Spanish companies are currently surpassing their EU peers in finding ways to international markets. Besides the advantageous position in Latin America, there are many opportunities in Europe, Africa and Asia. Therefore, we have selected Madrid to organise the first Excellencies & Executives Dinner outside the Netherlands on Tuesday 31 March 2020 in the Madrid Westin Palace Hotel.

The dinner will be attended by the ambassadors of the following countries:
Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Costa Rica, Cuba, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.

Prior to the dinner participants are invited to attend one of the following Masterclasses of their choice:

Entrepreneurial Economy Societies – Prof.Dr. Dewanand Mahadew
The transformation of the industrial economy to an entrepreneurial economy is affecting nations and societies around the world in many ways. More than ever before, there are opportunities for local communities to become integrated in (global) value chains, thanks to technological advancements. Technology is driving globalization of the world towards a new era, characterized by mass-customization, co-creation and co-innovation. Topics include entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, entrepreneurial economy, economical dynamics and 21st century skills

Value Proposition (re)Design – Rob van Nes MBA CIBDE
In this Masterclass Rob van Nes uses his model ‘The Wheel of Value’, developed for and published in his book of the same name, to discuss why value propositions are extremely vulnerable for disruption, reasons why they are not obviously relevant in new (foreign) markets and how to effectively redevelop the value proposition.

18:00 – 19:45 Executives are invited to join a Masterclass of their choice
19:45 – 20:30 Reception of Ambassadors and special guests
